Resilience Together: Bonding Through Siege
In Gaza, the prolonged siege has not only tested resilience but has also inadvertently strengthened social trust and cohesion. Amid the harsh realities of the siege, community members have drawn closer, creating a web of mutual support. The shared hardships have fostered deeper bonds of understanding and trust. In the backdrop of scarcity and challenge, acts of sharing and collective aid have become the norm. This enforced closeness has transformed the social landscape, turning neighbors into extended family members, united by a shared experience of survival and hope.
